Janitta Nichols was raised in the urban areas of Cincinnati, Ohio. She currently resides in Austin, Texas, with her husband and three children. Janitta is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse and discovered her mother and grandmother had also been subjected to abuse. She left her career as a police officer behind to speak her truth and heal her generational trauma as a speaker, writer, and the author of "The Secrets of My Mother - Breaking Free from Generational Curses and Trauma". She is breaking the cycle for herself and her children with faith, courage, forgiveness, and love.
